World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day

At ASIS, we believe that mental well-being is just as vital as physical health. In recognition of World Mental Health Day, the school dedicated a special day to nurturing self-awareness, emotional expression, and kindness among learners.
The day unfolded with a series of mindful activities, reflective discussions, and guided exercises that encouraged students to pause, connect with their emotions, and understand the value of empathy. Through these thoughtful sessions, learners explored ways to care for their mental and emotional health — reminding everyone that it’s okay to feel, share, and seek support.
A special highlight of the celebration was the introduction of the Worry Monster — a fun and creative emotional wellness tool. Learners wrote down their worries and “fed” them to the monster, symbolically letting go of their anxieties in a safe and supportive space. This engaging activity helped children express their feelings freely and learn that sharing can lighten emotional burdens.
To further amplify the message of mental well-being, students participated in an inspiring awareness walk around the campus, spreading positivity through slogans, posters, and meaningful conversations about kindness, resilience, and the importance of listening.
This meaningful observance served as a gentle reminder for all of us to pause, reflect, and support one another — building a community where every individual feels seen, heard, and valued.
At ASIS, we continue to strive toward creating an environment that nurtures not only academic growth but also emotional strength — empowering our learners to be kind, mindful, and compassionate individuals.
