Session on Puberty

A sensitisation session on puberty and adolescent changes was conducted separately for the boys and girls of Grade 5, creating a safe, respectful, and supportive space for learners to understand the changes that accompany growing up.
The sessions focused on the physical, emotional, and social changes experienced during puberty, along with the importance of maintaining personal hygiene, healthy habits, and self-care. Learners were encouraged to ask questions, clarify their doubts, and understand that growing up is a natural and individual journey.
Through age-appropriate discussions and meaningful interactions, learners developed greater awareness, confidence, empathy, and respect for themselves and others. The session helped them approach the transition into adolescence with knowledge, openness, and a positive outlook.
