Mock Fire Drill at Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty Icon School

At Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty ICON School (ASIS), the safety and well-being of our learners and staff remain our highest priority. To strengthen emergency preparedness and promote a culture of safety, a Mock Fire Drill was successfully conducted on campus.
The drill provided learners and staff with an opportunity to practise the school’s evacuation procedures in a calm, organised, and disciplined manner. Following the established safety protocols, everyone evacuated the school premises efficiently within 7 minutes, demonstrating teamwork, awareness, and readiness in responding to an emergency situation.
As part of the awareness session, learners were also introduced to essential fire safety equipment, including sand buckets and fire extinguishers. They gained an understanding of the purpose of these safety measures, how they help control fires, and why only trained adults should operate such equipment while learners focus on evacuating safely and following instructions.
The exercise reinforced the importance of remaining calm, acting responsibly, and adhering to safety guidelines during emergencies. Beyond being a routine drill, it served as a valuable learning experience that equipped our learners with practical knowledge and confidence to respond appropriately in unforeseen situations.
