International Plastic bag free Day

As part of International Plastic Bag Free Day, children were introduced to the importance of saying “No to Plastic Bags” and choosing eco-friendly alternatives to help protect our environment. Through age-appropriate discussions, they learned how reducing the use of plastic can make a positive difference to our planet.
To reinforce this learning, our FS1 and FS2 students brought old T-shirts from home and creatively transformed them into reusable cloth bags, experiencing the joy of upcycling and sustainable living.
Our Stage 1 students enthusiastically made paper bags, discovering another simple and effective alternative to single-use plastic bags.
