International Day of World’s Indigenous Peoples
At ASIS, we take pride in shaping learners who are globally aware, culturally sensitive, and deeply respectful of diversity. On the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples, our students embarked on a meaningful journey to explore the rich cultural heritage of indigenous communities from around the globe.
Through thought-provoking discussions and hands-on activities, learners discovered the unique traditions, values, and ways of life that define various indigenous groups. This experience not only expanded their knowledge but also deepened their empathy and appreciation for cultural diversity.
As a creative tribute, our students crafted Native American masks, blending art with cultural learning. Each mask reflected the vibrant symbolism, artistry, and storytelling traditions that are an integral part of indigenous heritage.
By engaging in such experiences, ASIS reinforces its commitment to fostering global citizenship—encouraging learners to respect, celebrate, and preserve the diverse roots of humanity.
