International Day of the Girl Child

International Day of the Girl Child

On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, ASIS proudly celebrated the strength, resilience, and potential of its girl learners through an empowering self-defense session in martial arts. The event was designed not just as an activity, but as a movement — one that inspires confidence, courage, and self-belief among our young learners.
The session, led by trained martial arts instructors, focused on equipping students with practical self-defense techniques and strategies to ensure their personal safety and situational awareness. With immense enthusiasm and determination, our girls actively participated, learning skills that enhance not only physical agility but also mental alertness and emotional resilience.
More than a lesson in defense, the initiative highlighted the importance of self-empowerment — reminding every girl that she possesses the strength to stand tall, protect herself, and lead with confidence. The energy, focus, and unity witnessed throughout the event truly reflected the spirit of empowerment that ASIS seeks to nurture.
At ASIS, we believe that education extends beyond classrooms — it’s about shaping individuals who are strong, fearless, and ready to take on the world. Through initiatives like these, we continue to champion the message that every girl holds within her the power to protect, lead, and shine, paving the way for a brighter, more equal tomorrow.
