International Day of Persons with Disabilities
At ASIS, our learners embraced the true spirit of inclusion, respect, and empathy as we observed the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day was filled with thoughtfully designed house-wise task challenges, where students were encouraged to experience firsthand how ordinary activities can become significantly more challenging for individuals with disabilities. These real-life simulations helped them develop a deeper understanding of the importance of patience, support, sensitivity, and compassion.
Following the activities, learners engaged in meaningful discussions and reflections, sharing insights on how small acts of empathy and kindness can make the world more accepting and inclusive for everyone.
This powerful experience nurtured not only awareness, but also a mindset that celebrates diversity and recognizes ability beyond disability.
At ASIS, we are proud to be shaping a generation that values differences, stands for equality, and believes in building a world where everyone belongs.
