Holi Celebration 2026
The vibrant festival of colours came alive at ASIS as our learners explored the true essence of Holi beyond just colours and celebrations.
Our students enthusiastically learned why and how Holi is celebrated and discovered the rich cultural significance it holds across different regions of India. From the playful traditions of Mathura and Vrindavan to the unique customs observed in different states, learners gained a deeper understanding of how this joyful festival brings people together across the country.
Adding a joyful twist to the celebration, learners participated in an engaging game of expressions and actions where they enacted different situations, filling the atmosphere with laughter, creativity, and positivity.
Teachers also lovingly applied a traditional tilak to each learner, symbolising blessings, warmth, and togetherness, and extended heartfelt wishes for a very Happy Holi.
The celebration also highlighted responsibility and awareness, as students discussed the importance of celebrating an eco-friendly Holi. They learned about choosing natural colours, conserving water, and caring for the environment while enjoying the festival.
At ASIS, festivals are not just celebrated — they are understood, cherished, and practised with meaningful values that help shape thoughtful and responsible individuals.
