At ASIS, festivals are more than just celebrations—they’re vibrant learning experiences. This Navratri, our campus came alive with joy, rhythm, and tradition as learners immersed themselves in the festive spirit of Garba!
The celebrations began with meaningful discussions about the significance of Navratri—the nine sacred nights that honor strength, devotion, and the divine feminine. Our students deepened their understanding of India’s rich cultural tapestry through storytelling and reflection.
The highlight of the day was an energetic Garba workshop led by renowned choreographer Nikhil Desai—a national and international dance choreographer, and a winning performer at major competitions like Cascade, Turbulence, Melange, Lions Club, and the Hip Hop Championship. Under his expert guidance, learners picked up graceful Garba steps, moved to the festive beats, and experienced the joy of expressive movement.
Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, our learners lit up the celebration with energy, unity, and joy—bringing the spirit of Navratri to life.
