Council Voting

The Student Council Voting process at Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty ICON School (ASIS) was an exciting milestone in the school’s leadership journey. Learners from the Primary and Lower Secondary sections participated enthusiastically in the democratic process and exercised their right to vote for the candidates they believed would represent their voices and interests.
Following the canvassing sessions, learners made their choices thoughtfully, demonstrating an understanding of the importance of responsibility, informed decision-making, and student voice. The voting process provided learners with a meaningful first-hand experience of how democratic systems work and highlighted the values of choice, accountability, fairness, and participation.
For the aspiring leaders, the experience was an important lesson in understanding that leadership is not simply about winning a position—it is about earning trust, listening to others, serving the community, and leading with integrity.
The day was a celebration of young voices and emerging leaders, empowering learners to participate actively in shaping their school community.
At ASIS, every vote represented a voice, every choice reflected a value, and every learner became a part of the leadership journey.
