Bastille Day

Our Bastille Day Celebration was a vibrant journey into the heart of French history, culture, and traditions. The day began with a special assembly that introduced learners to the significance of Bastille Day and its importance in French history.
Adding colour and excitement to the celebration, learners dressed in French-inspired attire and the colours of the French flag. A lively parade brought the spirit of France to life, creating a wonderful visual representation of French culture right within the school campus.
Throughout the day, learners participated in a variety of French-themed activities, exploring the language, traditions, cuisine, landmarks, and cultural practices of France. They engaged in conversations about French culture and heritage and embarked on an exciting virtual tour of France, discovering its iconic places and enriching their understanding of the country. The celebration was made even more delightful with a taste of France as learners enjoyed fresh croissants, adding a delicious cultural experience to their learning.
The Bastille Day celebration beautifully blended learning, exploration, creativity, and celebration, giving learners an opportunity to experience France beyond the classroom and appreciate the richness of global cultures.
