International Yoga Day Celebration

International Yoga Day Celebration

The Early Years Department enthusiastically celebrated International Yoga Day on 22nd June 2026 with great joy and excitement. The celebration aimed to introduce our young learners to the importance of yoga and encourage healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.
The session began with a brief discussion about yoga and its many benefits, helping children understand how it keeps our body strong, improves flexibility, enhances concentration, and promotes overall well-being. Guided by their teachers, the students enthusiastically participated in a variety of simple yoga poses such as the Tree Pose, Butterfly Pose, Cat-Cow Pose, and Mountain Pose. They also practiced basic breathing exercises, which helped them experience relaxation and mindfulness.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the session and actively followed each pose with enthusiasm and confidence. Through this engaging experience, they learned that regular yoga practice helps us stay healthy, calm, active, and happy. The celebration was a meaningful and enriching experience that fostered physical fitness, self-awareness, and healthy habits among our Early Years students. It was a wonderful way to inspire our little learners to embrace wellness and make yoga a part of their daily routine.
