Wildlife Conservation Day
At ASIS, we believe in nurturing young minds to become responsible citizens who care for the planet and every living being on it. In honour of Wildlife Conservation Day, our learners engaged in an enriching and eye-opening experience dedicated to understanding and protecting the natural world.
The session conducted by the Primary Coordinator Ms. Meera Shah, introduced learners to the importance of wildlife, the beauty and uniqueness of different species, and the essential role animals play in maintaining the balance of our ecosystem. Students explored topics such as the possible threats to wildlife — including habitat loss, pollution, poaching, climate change, and human interference — and discussed practical solutions on how each of us can contribute to conservation.
Learners also learned about various National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries in India, becoming familiar with the places that serve as safe havens for endangered and vulnerable species. This experience inspired admiration, awareness, and respect for the efforts made to protect wildlife across the nation.
To spread awareness within the school community, students created creative and powerful posters showcasing messages of protection, preservation, and hope for wildlife. Their artwork became a vibrant reminder that every voice matters and that young change-makers can make a big difference.
At ASIS, we are proud to empower our learners to think, act, and lead with empathy, responsibility, and environmental consciousness — shaping a generation committed to protecting our planet.
Together, let’s stand for wildlife and a greener, safer tomorrow.
