Workshop on Kindness and Compassion by PETA

Workshop on Kindness and Compassion by PETA

ASIS took a meaningful step towards building a kinder and more empathetic world as our learners from Grades 1 to 5 participated in an inspiring PETA awareness session conducted by Ms. Minal Shah. The session beautifully highlighted the values of kindness, compassion, and responsibility towards animals — leaving a lasting impression on our young learners.
This initiative aligns seamlessly with the Cambridge Well-being Programme, which encourages children to practise mindfulness, empathy, and kindness — not only towards themselves and the people around them, but also towards animals and the environment.
Through engaging stories, real-life examples, and interactive discussions, Ms. Minal guided learners to understand that every animal — big or small — deserves respect, care, and gentle treatment. She encouraged children to observe their surroundings, respond sensitively to animals in need, and make compassion a part of their everyday choices.
Our learners listened with interest as they discovered how simple actions — offering water to birds, feeding strays responsibly, or showing patience and gentleness — can create a meaningful difference in the lives of animals.
ASIS extends heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Minal Shah for nurturing empathy in our young hearts and empowering them to grow into thoughtful, responsible, and compassionate individuals.
At ASIS, we believe that kindness is learned through experience — and today, our learners took a beautiful step towards shaping a more caring world.
