Dentist Visit

On 13th November 2025, Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty International School organized a Dental Health Awareness Visit as a part of our ongoing efforts to promote health and hygiene among our students. We were delighted to welcome Dr. Kajol Thakur and Dr. Manasi, who graciously conducted an interactive and educational session for the children.
The visit began with an engaging talk where the dentists explained the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene, the correct method of brushing teeth, and healthy eating habits that help keep teeth strong. They used child-friendly examples, models, and visuals to help students understand how cavities are formed and how they can be prevented. The session helped students learn the significance of brushing twice a day, reducing sugary snacks, and visiting the dentist regularly. After the awareness session, both doctors individually examined the teeth of every child across the kindergarten section. Their warm and friendly approach made the children feel comfortable throughout the check-up. The dentists provided quick feedback to teachers about any necessary follow-ups or areas of improvement for specific children.
To encourage and motivate healthy habits, the doctors also awarded certificates to students who showcased excellent oral hygiene, had strong and healthy teeth, and showed no signs of cavities. This gesture brought immense joy to the children and inspired others to take better care of their dental health. Overall, the dentist visit was informative, encouraging, and highly beneficial. It emphasized the importance of early dental care and empowered our young learners with the knowledge to maintain healthy smiles. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Kajol Thakur and Dr. Manasi for their time, expertise, and dedication towards promoting good health among our students.
