Independence Day celebration

Independence Day celebration

The Kindergarten section of Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty International School marked Independence Day with a heartwarming display of pride, patriotism, and joy. The celebration began on an energetic note with a spirited march past, where the little ones marched in perfect rhythm to the beats of patriotic tunes, their bright smiles and determined steps reflecting unity and discipline. The atmosphere grew even more special when a talented Stage 1 child captivated the audience by playing the National Anthem on the piano, filling the space with a sense of reverence and pride.
The campus was a sight to behold, adorned with the vibrant hues of the Indian flag, as children arrived dressed in beautiful tricolour-themed attire, radiating love for their country. The highlight of the morning was the special assembly by Stage 1 students, where they confidently showcased India’s national symbols and paid tribute to its courageous freedom fighters. Through inspiring facts and heartfelt performances, they reminded everyone of the sacrifices that shaped our nation’s freedom.
Adding to the festive spirit, the children engaged in creative craft activities inspired by national symbols, decorating the national flag, lotus, peacock, and Ashoka Chakra with colours, glitter, and imagination. They also expressed their artistic skills by drawing various national symbols, each piece reflecting their understanding of the day’s significance.
The entire celebration beautifully wove together elements of learning, creativity, and patriotism, leaving every child with a deeper appreciation for India’s rich heritage and the values of unity, respect, and pride in being an Indian.
