Coping with anxiety before Assessments

Coping with anxiety before Assessments

At ASIS, we believe that true education goes beyond academics — it includes nurturing emotional resilience and mental well-being. In line with this philosophy, a special session on “Coping with Anxiety Before Assessments” was conducted for our Primary learners by the school counsellor, Ms. Madhura Satam.
The interactive session aimed to help young learners recognize and understand the feelings of nervousness or worry that often arise before assessments. Ms. Satam guided students through simple and practical techniques to manage stress, focus better, and approach exams with a calm and positive mindset.
Through engaging discussions, relatable examples, and hands-on activities, learners discovered that it’s normal to feel anxious — and that with self-awareness, breathing exercises, and positive thinking, they can turn that anxiety into confidence and motivation.
The session created a safe and supportive space where learners could express their thoughts freely and realize that asking for help is a sign of strength. It also reinforced ASIS’s ongoing commitment to promoting emotional well-being and holistic growth in every child.
At ASIS, we continue to empower our learners not just to perform well in academics but to grow into balanced, confident, and self-aware individuals — ready to take every challenge in stride.
