Don’t Crumple My Heart

At Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty International School (ASIS), we believe in nurturing not just minds, but hearts. Through our “Don’t Crumple My Heart” activity, learners took a meaningful journey into the power of words—understanding how they can both heal and hurt.
Inspired by the touching story of Heather the Rabbit 🐇, students reflected on how unkind words leave lasting marks. With the powerful analogy of toothpaste that can’t be put back into the tube, they learned that once words are spoken, they can’t be taken back.

To pledge their commitment to kindness, our learners:
Wrote their names on band-aids to symbolically mend Heather’s crumpled heart.
Shared heartfelt promises of kindness on beautiful heart-shaped cutouts.
Wore kindness wristbands and proudly became Kindness Ambassadors of ASIS.

As part of this initiative, learners were also introduced to the Favour Club—a ripple of positivity where each student will perform three random acts of kindness, encouraging a chain reaction of compassion and care.
Because at ASIS, kindness isn’t just taught—it blooms.
