National Sports Day

National Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty International School, where students were introduced to the significance of the day, observed every year on August 29th to honor hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. The celebration included an engaging session highlighting the achievements of iconic Indian sports personalities such as Abhinav Bindra, Saina Nehwal, Milkha Singh, and P.T. Usha. Students learned about their dedication, perseverance, and contributions to Indian sports. A special Show and Tell activity added excitement to the event, where students spoke confidently about their favorite sports personalities, expressing admiration for figures like Sachin Tendulkar, Mary Kom, and Virat Kohli. The event successfully inspired students to embrace the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and determination, making it a memorable and motivating experience for all.
