Guru Purnima Celebrations at Bunts Sangha’s Arathi Shetty International School

ASIS proudly celebrated Guru Purnima, a day dedicated to honoring and expressing gratitude to our teachers and mentors. This meaningful occasion highlighted the timeless bond between guru (teacher) and shishya (student), rooted in respect, learning, and guidance. The celebration began with a traditional welcome, Lighting of the lamp by our dynamic Principal Namrata Ma’am and the teachers, followed by a skit by Grades 4 and 5 learners and a poem by Grade 3 learners. Guru Purnima at ASIS was not just a tribute to academic mentors, but also an opportunity for students to recognize all those who guide and inspire them — within and beyond the classroom. The event served as a reminder that learning is a journey best taken with respect, gratitude, and reverence for our guiding lights.
